Refund, Return, and Cancellation Policy

Last updated: August 19, 2026

This Refund, Return, and Cancellation Policy explains how Monogram Appliance Repair handles appointment changes, diagnostic charges, parts, and refunds for independent in-home appliance repair in the United States. It applies to service in the Miami / Brickell area and in the other metros listed on this site, including New York, Houston, Los Angeles, and San Diego.

Monogram Appliance Repair is an independent repair company. We are not an official Monogram or GE Appliances service center. Manufacturer factory-warranty programs, recall repairs, and authorized-servicer refund rules are separate from this policy and are not administered by us.

Canceling or rescheduling an appointment

You may cancel or reschedule at no charge by calling or emailing us at least 24 hours before the start of your scheduled window. Please use (844) 415-4997 or [email protected] and include your name, address, and appointment date.

If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, or after a technician has already been dispatched, a trip fee may apply. If nobody is present, the appliance cannot be accessed, or we are turned away on arrival, the visit may be treated as a completed dispatch and the diagnostic or trip charge may still be due.

Diagnostic fee

A diagnostic fee is charged when a technician visits to inspect the appliance, identify likely causes, and prepare an estimate. That fee covers travel, on-site time, and professional diagnosis — not a promise that a repair will be inexpensive or that every part is in local stock.

If you approve the repair, the diagnostic fee is typically applied toward the approved total. If you decline the repair after diagnosis, the diagnostic fee is not refundable. We will still explain the findings and the estimate so you can decide how to proceed.

Approved repairs and labor refunds

Once you approve a repair, labor is charged for the work performed. If a completed repair does not resolve the issue that was diagnosed and approved, contact us. We will re-evaluate. If the problem is within the original diagnosis and our workmanship, we will re-repair that issue at no additional labor charge during the applicable workmanship-warranty period.

If we cannot complete an approved repair for reasons within our control (for example, we cannot obtain a required original part after you paid a deposit), we will discuss options, which may include a refund of unused labor or a part deposit that was not spent. Refunds are not automatic for a change of mind after parts have been ordered or installed.

Parts — returns and defective parts

This is a repair service, not a retail parts store. Installed parts are not returnable for refund once the repair has been completed and tested, except as required by law or as covered below.

If an installed part is defective, we will pursue replacement under the part manufacturer’s parts warranty. When that warranty applies, we will replace the defective part; related labor during our workmanship-warranty period is handled as described in your written estimate.

Parts we ordered for your job but have not yet installed may be returnable only if the supplier accepts them. Supplier restocking fees, freight, and non-returnable special-order items are deducted from any credit. We will not order a special-order part without your approval of the cost and expected lead time.

Workmanship warranty follow-up

If a related problem returns during the workmanship-warranty period stated on your estimate, contact us to schedule a follow-up visit. Warranty labor applies to the original repair, not to a new, unrelated failure, damage after the visit, or work performed by someone else on the same appliance.

How to request a cancellation or refund

Call (844) 415-4997, email [email protected], or write to Monogram Appliance Repair, 1200 Brickell Ave, Suite 400, Miami, FL 33131. Include your name, service address, appointment or invoice date, and a short description of the request. We aim to respond to refund requests within 5 business days.

When refunds are not available

Unless required by law, refunds are not available for:

  • Diagnostic or trip charges after a completed on-site diagnosis, a late cancellation, or a missed appointment
  • Labor and parts for work you approved that was performed as estimated
  • Issues caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, power events, or modifications after our visit
  • Pre-existing conditions or additional failures that were not part of the approved repair
  • Cosmetic damage that was not reported while the technician was on site
  • Manufacturer factory-warranty, recall, or authorized-servicer claims (those must go through the manufacturer or their network)

How approved refunds are paid

Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days after we confirm the amount and are returned by the original payment method when that method is still available. Bank and card networks may take additional time to post the credit. Cash or check payments, if used, are refunded by check mailed to the service address on file unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Changes

We may update this policy by posting a revised version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. The version in effect when you book a visit applies to that visit, except where a change is required by law.
